Hi there, and welcome to my cozy little corner of the internet. This space is for anyone who’s ever felt like they weren’t getting the full picture from traditional approaches.
I’m Andrea, a mama, wife, food lover, certified nutritionist, menopause coach, ADHD coach and forever lifetime learner of holistic wellness.
I created Simply Salt & Soul to be a space that feels a little more grounding and approachable. A place where wellness doesn’t feel extreme, confusing, or impossible to keep up with, but instead feels simple, intentional, and realistic for everyday life.
I support women who are going through health challenges like hormonal imbalances, irregular cycles, digestive imbalances, and nervous system overwhelm, while also working with people who are simply looking for a more balanced and realistic approach to their overall health.
My approach is food-first and evidence-informed, with a focus on understanding the patterns and factors that may be contributing to how someone feels, rather than only trying to quiet symptoms on the surface.
Lasting change takes time, consistency, and a grounded focus on what’s actually sustainable in real life.
I offer personalized nutrition guidance, practical lifestyle support, and one-on-one coaching to help women better support their hormones and feel more balanced in everyday life. Together, we focus on realistic changes your body can respond to over time, without overwhelm, perfectionism, restriction, or feeling like wellness has to become a full-time job.
My path definitely hasn’t been a straight line. I started out in Early Childhood Education, then moved into home baking when I was pregnant with my first one. And somewhere between raising two busy boys, running a baking business, and juggling everyday life, I started realizing my own health didn’t feel quite right anymore.
In 2017, I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, and that experience forced me to slow down and really pay attention to what my body had been trying to tell me for a long time.
What once felt subtle suddenly became impossible to ignore, and it completely changed the way I started looking at health and wellness. After years of leaving appointments still feeling confused or dismissed, I realized I needed to take a more active role in supporting my own well-being. What started as a personal search for answers slowly grew into something much bigger.
After earning my first nutrition and wellness certification, a few years later, I began experiencing perimenopause firsthand. That experience eventually led me to become a Certified Menopause Coach because I wanted to offer the kind of clear, supportive guidance I often struggled to find on my own.
My background in Early Childhood Education also shaped a lot of how I understand behaviour, learning, and emotional regulation, which later inspired me to become a Certified ADHD Coach as well.
Now, I bring all of these pieces together as I continue my studies to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, supporting women, along with anyone looking for a more balanced approach to their health, in a way that feels practical, grounded, and realistic for everyday life.
Remember, wellness doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. It lives in the messy, everyday moments. I’m really glad you’re here. Take what feels helpful, and go from there.
